Superintendent II for multifamily and mixed-use residential construction, independently coordinating a substantial project phase and supporting senior field leadership.
Position responsibilities
- Oversee assigned sitework, foundation, framing, enclosure or finish scopes.
- Lead designated subcontractors and evaluate field productivity and schedule progress.
- Coordinate inspection activity with consultants and municipalities.
- Investigate safety hazards, schedule conflicts, construction defects and necessary corrective actions.
- Apply drawings, specifications and code requirements to work in place.
- Work with senior superintendents on trade accountability, quality and turnover.
Requirements
Qualifications and requirements
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work scopes independently.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, safety, quality, codes and project schedules.
- Ability to interpret design drawings, specifications and field documents.
- Experience coordinating site inspections and communicating with outside stakeholders.
