Superintendent - Orlando

Lead on-site commercial construction in Orlando from mobilization through completion, including trade coordination, client communications, safety and proactive project quality control.

Position responsibilities

• Direct subcontractor and field activities, identify blockers and maintain progress.
• Manage short-term plans and three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Check work in place against construction drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Organize preinstallation coordination and remedy field issues before costly rework.
• Conduct daily safety oversight and correct unsafe site conditions.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, inspectors and internal project management.

Qualifications and requirements

• Relevant commercial superintendent experience; the company considers Superintendent I, II and Senior skill levels.
• Strong capability in scheduling, jobsite sequencing, trade management and field troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements, workmanship and quality controls.
• Clear client communication, organization and leadership.
• Availability to travel when project needs demand it.
